Default Tool - A Tribute to Tool (2002) Retail CD

Music > Albums > Tool - A Tribute to Tool (2002) Retail CD
added on May 10, 2007, at 15:53 by allcdcovers

I had high hopes for this album - a load of unknown (at least to me) artists doing covers of Tool songs. "Come on, it can't be _that_ bad", I thought. How mistaken was I? This album should never have been allowed to be released. These "artists" have taken beautiful music and twisted it beyond all recognition. If the end result was good, then maybe they could be forgiven - but it's not. The album tends to follow an electronic/synth style, with bits of "experimental" wandering, but it's obvious how little talent was behind it. (Aside from the original songwriting.)A word of warning to Tool fans, or indeed anyone - stay well clear of this album. You'll regret buying it. I did.
