Being a hip hop lover since i discovered it in my early teens I thought I heard almost all there is to hear - from Stateside and from Europe. From groups like A Tribe Called Quest and Wu-Tang Clan, to Biggie, Pac and Rakim, and more recently Jay-Z, Nas and Eminem. And from the notorious european rappers iam, Booba, Lunatic, Arsenik, the infamous Marseille based Fonky Family and not to forget hot new dutch sensation Ali B.

Whenever a unique talent comes onto the scene in America or the UK and France they are widely recognised by all and given their dues in full, and sometimes more than they deserve. If only hip hop listeners in the countries would give an ear to the global hip hop movement.

Recently American hip hop has turned into a sort of hip pop fake sounding imitation of what it used to be. Out steps OUTLANDISH - mark my words one of the freshest vibes in recent years to hip hop. Not only are they creative and intelligent rappers (easily comparing to the most talented of American stars in hip hop ability and flow), but they actually write their music in about 6 different languages - majority being in English, and most of their tunes have awesome hard hitting hip hop hooks and beats you can "break you neck to" - such as "El Moro", "Komigen" and "Stick em up", as well as smooth r&b anthems such as "Aicha", "Walou", "Callin U", "Pacific to pacific" and "Eyes never dry". How can you forget straight grimey raw original hip hop tunes - "Renovadores" and "Bond between us". This is truly the best of Global Hip Hop, I would say they are pioneers in what they do, and belong in any countdown of Great Hip Hop legends. On top of all this they are still going strong and have a new 4th album.

Its a real damn shame this danish hip hop trio are widely unknown by the masses when their talent far exceeds the commercialised fake artists people listen to today.

Favourite tunes - Honestly i bob my head and sing along to just about every one, if the Fugees were still together then they'd have to up their game against Outlandish. Check them out.
