I came across Keith Urban purely by chance (good fortune) on my way back from a summer holiday on one of those radio stations you listen to on the airplane. I caught the tail end of "I'll think of you" and I was instantly mesmerised, by the music and the voice. Of course, I had no idea who he was and wrote down bits of the lyric on a tissue and made it my mission to find out who the artist and the song was as soon as I touched down! I thank heaven for that day as I hate to think I would be missing out on his amazing talent and music but for that chance encounter. Those of you who haven't heard his music, take some good advice and go buy this album. I promise you it'll be one of the best things you've ever done. If you like country rock, with meaningful lyrics, a voice to die for and songs you never tire of listening to, then this is the artist for you. As we have seen, Keith has proved himself to be one of the brightest shining stars in this field and I'm certain his star will deservedly continue to rise. I was lucky enough to see him perform live in London recently - to sum up - PURE GENIUS.
