Default Creating Custom Covers

Just added a couple of possibilities for creating your own cd custom box covers and a dvd cover. The covers are just to give you an idea of what is possible. They aren't finished. The conversion from DVD to CD will be a nightmare and something I don't realy have an interest in.

Below 2 examples (unfinished)

Another concept in customising can be CD cover to DVD cover,a quick example created below ( I'm not very artistic but the idea of what is possible is there. This concept is a normal Amaray 4 Disc DVD Box.

Thumbs up Creating Custom Covers

Most people use Photoshop and it does a good job. But what if you don't have Photoshop? If you don't have Photoshop, you can use the following freeware programs to help you.

Paint.NET
IrfanView
Inkscape
The Gimp
Microsoft Paint
FastStone Image Viewer
Picasa

I just uploaded a custom disc art that I made(Up 2009). I then thought a slight alteration might be desirable from at least some people. Well, my first upload was replaced by my alteration. See...I wanted to give people the choice of FULL gold theme, or simply a partial gold theme. I thought that the Gold title may have been overdoing it. But other people may not think so. Which is why I uploaded both. I didn't wanna replace the other custom art.
Appreciate some thoughts on this.
Thanks in advance.

Omegaman7769,

I just looked at your custom cd disc cover and it looks great. I uploaded an Up custom also, but I didn't replace anyone's and I'm not sure what your talking about since these are the only 3 covers to this title...As far as customs go, everyone has different tastes. As long as it looks good, is cropped properly, sized properly and not stretched, it should be accepted. To answer your question, I like the gold on this cover.

Also, try Photoscape & Photofilter, both are free programs
