I have a habit of listening to old music and collecting old Jackson 5 music is just one of my loves. This Album really touched me the first few times I listened to it and to this day some of its songs bring tears to my eyes. I was not part of the J5 era to hear these songs live then but I know that the J5 music was called the bubblegum soul and I think the term suits well as it is invarably a combination of everything in it. You can hear the purity and innocence of a childs' voice in some of the songs and a lovely transition into the adult voice of the Michael Jackson we know. Songs like Ben, Music and Me , One in Your Life, You are there,To make My father Proud to name a few, are songs which are emotionally charged --- I love those songs. The greatest thing about this album is that each song in it contains a message which if you listen to carefully and think of it you will be in a positon the envision the emotion and truth of life in them. The collection on this album consist of some of the biggest hits which till today live on in the background. For people who love soulful tunes with a little bit of foot tapping from the days gone by, this album is all that you have asked for a combination of ballads and rhythmic numbers.
