I was ready for something a little more hardcore for the Wii, and jumped on the opportunity to get The Conduit. So far, I'm not very impressed. Even on the Wii, I expected better. The controls are the one exception, and they pretty much rock my world. However, multiplayer crashed my Wii at least every other match... very annoying. I'm getting sick of walking across the room to turn my Wii off and then back on. And, there's no local multiplayer. Isn't the whole point of the Wii to have people come together to play games? I've certainly spent late nights playing Halo and such against visiting friends... and I was expecting to do the same with The Conduit. Nope. Given the general crappiness of Nintendo Wifi... local multiplayer should certainly have been a top priority. 37% complete with the campaign mode, and not impressed. Just not impressed all around. As a shooter on the Wii, it's impressive... as a game in it's own right, it's seriously lacking.
