<font size="1">added on August 16, 2007, at 21:40 by bki</font><br /><br /><table><tr valign="top"><td>With <I>Unreal Tournament</I> carving the way in the gaming world for multi-player fests, Infogammes hopes to do the same for single-player first-person shooters with <I>Unreal 2</I>. <p> Playing Marine wannabe John Dalton, you're assigned to patrol a monotonous stretch of the outer perimeter. Of course, you soon get a distress call from a nearby planet and the action ensues in the usual fast-paced manner that you've come to expect from the <I>Unreal</I> team. <p> The gameplay is great, with a good array of weapons to master and there is plenty of interaction possible with a Real Time Conversation System allowing you to issue commands and respond to events as they happen. <p> <I>Unreal 2</I> uses the same engine as <I>Unreal Tournament 2003</I> and as you would expect the graphics are very good, if not a little power hungry and you'd be advised to have more than the recommended PIII 733. <p> Those keen to develop the game further will be pleased to see that the game comes with a level editor but some may be disappointed to see that the inclusion of a multiplayer element isn't here--you'll have to buy <I>Unreal Tournament 2003</I> for that. <p> If you missed the single-player element in <I>Unreal Tournament 2003</I> then <I>Unreal 2</I> will certainly fill the void. The storyline is filled with plenty of baddies and will be enough to challenge FPS fans old and new. <I>--Jason Denwood</I></td><td><script type="text/javascript">google_ad_client = "pub-5821412950245701";google_alternate_color = "F5F5FF";google_ad_width = 336;google_ad_height = 280;google_ad_format = "336x280_as";google_ad_type = "text";google_ad_channel = "0725529317";google_color_border = "F5F5FF";google_color_bg = "F5F5FF";google_color_link = "22229C";google_color_text = "000000";google_color_url = "333333";</script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script></td></tr></table><table cellpadding="15"><tr align="center"><td valign="bottom"><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/front"><img src="/image_system/covers_th/b/7/b7ad66695f444cfc7b39b94646ba233c.jpg" border="0"></a><br><strong><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/front">front</a></strong><br><font size="1">3240 x 2175 px</font></td><td valign="bottom"><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/cd"><img src="/image_system/covers_th/a/3/a3d50b4c8b146387426ae47e48e0e373.jpg" border="0"></a><br><strong><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/cd">cd</a></strong><br><font size="1">2822 x 2790 px</font></td><td valign="bottom"><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/cd_2"><img src="/image_system/covers_th/e/8/e834254ce1ecc88899cdbf9c55ae746c.jpg" border="0"></a><br><strong><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/cd_2">cd_2</a></strong><br><font size="1">2832 x 2797 px</font></td><td valign="bottom"><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/cd_3"><img src="/image_system/covers_th/c/5/c599966cc528ade3f31ef79dc56060dd.jpg" border="0"></a><br><strong><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/55043/unreal_ii_the_awakening_2003_retail_dvd/cd_3">cd_3</a></strong><br><font size="1">2824 x 2769 px</font></td></tr></table>
