One of the best racing game experiences to be had is to be flying through brightly lit, wonderfully rendered urban environments in a nice, shiny, modded to the maximum.... Volkswagen Golf.Yes, a Golf.And this game is all about the modding and then racing your newly designed car around night time cities, dodging traffic and flying over the occasional ramp as you go.You don't have to use a Golf as I did, there are plenty of better cars, more and more being unlocked as you progress through the main aspect of the game "Underground" mode.It has 4 game modes: Circuit(racing in circuits), Sprint(Racing from one point to another), Drag(Drag racing along a straight track(better than it sounds!))and Drift(You try to skid and slide your away around simple tracks racking up more points than your rivals)So to sum up:PLUS POINTS+Looks great+Very fast+Freedom to design a unique looking car+Runs smoothly(which is important when you are travelling at the speeds that you can)+4 different modes+Not too complicated but complicated enough to the point where you do other things when the game is switched on other than racing, (like modding your car and installing upgrades).MINUS POINTS-Music may not be to some people's tastes-Later stages of game quite frustrating at first-May be too simple for petrolheads-Some of the tracks are too similar to other tracksOVERALL: 8.5/10 (or 4/5 for the Amazon star rating)Buy this if you like cars or racing games, don't buy this if you hate cars and racing games.
