View Full Version : Introducing B quality covers?
I am aware of the quality-rules on this site.
But there are covers that aren't around in that quality.
E.g. I found a lot of covers on another site to fulfill the requests for the collection albums of "So Fresh". Some of them were not that clear and some of them contained the logo of the site outside the functional picture (they were CD covers) so when you print them they won't be printed.
Apparently all those covers were deleted after I uploaded them.
So why not introduce a B quality cover part of this site were such covers can be stored and be downloaded by those of us who still want them.......
Of course the uploadpoints for such covers should be different.
Anyone agrees?

Hi Harm10,
Thanks for your suggestion about B quality covers, however covers that don't meet the minimum site requirements cannot be accepted, and there is is no current plan to accept them in the near future. If you find/have a low quality version of a cover someone has requested I suggest you PM them, and arrange to e-mail them the cover or a link to the cover URL (do not post the link or url in the AllCDCovers forum as it will be deleted).
Thanks for your sugestions, and all of your cover uploads.

How do I find who requested the cover? Is that anywhere to be seen?

I don't think it is currently possible to see who requested a cover. Maybe this is something that could be suggested to Adrian?

Mazadillon,
You are correct, it is NOT currently possible to see who requested a cover.
Sorry for the bad suggestion, of how to get a low grade cover to a requestor.

Better a low graded cover than none at all????????????? :D
Some of those covers aren't around even if you look for years....... or not?
I personally deleted some of your covers since they were not usable. Those covers that were deleted looked like Amazon images stretched to meet our minimum dimensions. The end result was a blurry and useless image, certainly not something I would bother to print and therefore it was deleted.
So basically if it's not something you would have used yourself due to low quality, please don't send it over.
That's what I do and don't understand. The covers weren't great quality but they are printable and readable! I don't think they are stretched at all.
And I repeat (on the danger of getting annoying) that a B quality is better than none at all!
Attached you'll find one of the lesser covers but still according to my "better than none" standard. I had to take the max upload attachment into account.
It's So Fresh - Winter 2002 - back.
And to clarify: I don't want points for it, just offer some of us the option of getting this one.
But if no-one agrees it's also no problem!

For those who care, here's my view. I want to be able to come here first to see if there is a top notch quality cover. If it's not here, I'll look elsewhere. If it is available somewhere, I'll usually find it. I'd rather not have to sort out the great from the mediocre on this site. I can find mediocre everywhere else. If I can't find it at all, I make one up!
