I love the uploaded images quality...it's really great ! but... well I don't adress that post not only to people who are deciding which of the covers will be visible online...I think uploaders should look what do they do as well... I know I know... there are some stuff to win... I don't say everyone does that. Don't take me wrong...but I have seen allready a lot of covers which are not belong to the release. for example front cover is taken from european release, CD is american ....and back is taken from RUSSIAN ILLEGAL COPY. I really doubt someone have so released cd at home ... So in the name os GOOD QUALITY ...please don't fake that one by searching in the internet and compile something what doesn't really exist.... People who are accepting the uploads got enough work with the graphic's quality .... so they shouldn't be bothered with tracklist ...but on the other hand .... while checking ...maybe it's worth 5 seconds longer and compare tracklists from back cover and CD?

I think a lot of it comes down to the integrity of the users uploading covers. It's essentially a trust system, if the admins were going to properly check every single cover then it would take a whole lot longer and ultimately mean that either covers would take ages to become available or some would end up being skipped and slip through.

As a user if you see such a problem on the site there is a feature to submit a problem report about a cover which should then be looked at again by an admin. This is perhaps the most efficient way of dealing with problems like this?

Hi z-music,
Thanks for inputs, when we review covers for approval, we look for picture quality and that the cd cover front looks correct. We try to make sure all the cover parts match/go together, but this is very hard with all the covers that are submitted. Also, different users can submit cover missing cover parts for the covers already on the site. You ae correct we sort of have to depend on our users to try to upload cover parts to the correct title. When problems are reported to us we do our best to correct them. Hope you enjoy your visits to the site.

Zappman

I Agree about covers, but to some people it doesn't matter. They have a u-card, front cover and CD, I have seen it many times looking for covers, and dumped them. I Fully realise that the staff are doing the best that they can, but things do slip through the net, I have enough trouble with my covers, nearly 20,000 so with the covers they have to look at it is understandable errors occur

Hi z-music,
Your example has been fixed, as someone uploaded the correct covers parts, and I approved them.

Hey Zappman! Thanks a lot...in Madonna's section is more bugs, if u like can show u them. By the way this someone who uploaded correct "Beautiful Stranger" was me...but again the same problem ... I uploaded the cover into singles section (as it is single) and it's listed in album's section...

I can understand the problem but on the other side it is also quite difficult to upload 2 versions of the same album.
For the fullfiller of a request it is even more difficult to see what version someone wants or even to be aware of the different versions.
If you really want the uploader to make a study first about the matching of the covers (and I don't mean custom versions together with retail ones) then you wouldn't get as much uploads as you are getting now.
Maybe you should ask the requester (who obviously is aware of the version he/she wants) if this is the right version after the quality-rules are applied but before adding it to the database.

Hi z-music,
Glad I could Help, If you let us know about the other errors you see, we can try and fix them. Some things are fixable and others are not. In the above case it was easy to fix because I saw your message in the forum, then saw the uploaded cover, so I knew what to do. But, If I had tried to approve the cover first, I wouldn't have Known, and by the time I saw the message in the forum it would have been to late. Your inputs to the site are appreciated.
Thanks,
zappman:)
