Have you been trying to find a glimmer of brilliance in any of their compilations since Mark Doyle left? Or indeed, in Mark's work with Tokyo/Fierce Angel? Here it is. This is NOT a dance compilation, it's loungy and very beachy and just Latin enough. I know they're releasing a Beach House compilation soon but this could have easily been called that. Chilled. Fabulous. GOOD. Remember how good Winter Chill 06.03 was (is!) - This is at that level. What would I change? Would delete the last 2 or 3 tracks from CD 2 because they're slightly faster. And even then, they're good. All this is missing to make it 100% fabulous is Jason Brookes' artwork but I see Kandi have realised the error of their ways and their covers are starting to look like his. Finally.
