View Full Version : How to download?
Hi, I'm new on this forum. Maybe this is a very stupid question, but I don't know how I can download the cover art items: on the page with URL http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/85307/jj_cale_guitar_man_1996_retail_cd/front for example, on top of the page, it says "
What is this page?
Download the CD/DVD cover part you chose and see what other parts are available for this title."
, but I can't figure out what to do to actually download the front of the album. Can someone help me out?

Hello and welcome to the AllCDCovers, sanbao!
To download a cover, click the "Download" link under the thumbnail of the cover. You can find this link by looking under "Cover Info:", which has the same green big (even bigger) font your "What is this page?" title has, but it is further down the page.
It is a yellow button, looking just like the "Buy Now" on the left.
I hope you can find it this time ;),

sanbao,
Saphalon is right and you can also look at some guides in the "New Members" forum as it's a good place for new members to start.

Thank you very much Saphalon! I managed to find the button in Internet Explorer 7, but in my default browser (Firefox 3.5) the button "Download" isn't visible (neither is the "Buy Now" button). Maybe I have to change some browser settings, but I really don't know which settings then.....

Interesting, thanks for pointing it out, I will see if I can reproduce your findings sometime soon and try to come up with a fix.
Glad you found it anyway (using a different browser, but still) ^^,

FWIW my Firefox 3.5.3 sees the linked page and download button just fine.
Thank you Micromutt! I use the same version of Firefox. However, I also use the add-on "Adblock Plus" which turned out to be the cause of the buttons not showing.
Problem solved for me.
Thank you Saphalon! Micromutt made me search for another cause than the browser alone. Thus I thought it had to be Adblock Plus.
Problem solved for me.

Woo, late reaction. Hello anyway,
thank you both for clearing that out :). It still interests me why it is removed as an advertisement though, probably due to it's width/height ratio or something silly.
Glad you've found what's actually causing it and I hope to see you around!

Glad you solved the issue. This is a good bug to know about in case others run into it. The great power of FF is it's add-ons so I'm sure it will. Thanks again for posting your finding.
