Hello fripissimo and welcome to allcdcovers,

It is best to scan covers with a scanner or an all in one printer. I have never tried to take a picture of a cover....You have to keep the cover flat and won't be able to take a picture of it correctly, because the spine will be raised. To keep the spine down when scanning, place a book on top of the cover to keep it as flat as possible before scanning.
