This is no exception. You'll find this easy to play but hard to master, however once you get the hang of it or start to get into the harder dificulty levels in the tournament section things do start to get boring. The problem lies not with the game itself, its fine when playing on the arcade levels and is a blast in 4 player mode, but the tournament impresses at first then dissappoints. Let me explain....The tournament section is the meat of the game. You start off by choosing a country then play in different tournaments around the world. Your team partner is always computer controlled and after every game you get points to improve their game play. You can also give advice at certain points on a match depending on how they play. All well and good, except your team partner is computer controlled. Hmmmmm, well I thought I was supposed to be playing this game not the computer, but at least i'll get to hit the ball 50% of the time. Your team mate starts out rubbish so although you'll be spiking the ball with ease they will miss some of the easiest shots around. Don't be surprised if you don't get past the first match on your first go. Not too bad, but it is annoying to see your 10 point lead be lost by someone you can't return a serve. After a while though things get better, your partner improves and everything is good at this point. It feels like you've achieved something as the team pulls together you'll probably win quite a few games now. However, your team mate keeps getting better and better you win more and more games then you start to feel that your not actually doing much in the game and most of your games will take 1 of 3 forms vents....Its your serve, you serve, other team spikes ball, your team mate blocks and will either score a point or fail and the other team will score. Its your team mates serve, they serve, other team spikes ball, your team mate blocks and will either score a point or fail and the other team will score. Its the oppositions serve, they serve (95% of the time to your team mate), your team mate recieves, you get second hit, team mate spikes, opponent blocks and will either fail or succeed (mostly succeed)And thats it. Only really three ways the match will happen. There are times that you might manage to save a mis-blocked ball, but its rare. And after a while you'll get bored as you have little impact on the game.Graphics are good, but the player models look a little stiff in they're movements. Sound is ok, no commentary and the occasionaly shout. Its a good game if you regularly play with friends and the arcade game is solid but probably short lived. While the world tour suffers from no being involving enough once your team player has reached maximum skill level.</td><td><script type="text/javascript">google_ad_client = "pub-5821412950245701";google_alternate_color = "F5F5FF";google_ad_width = 336;google_ad_height = 280;google_ad_format = "336x280_as";google_ad_type = "text";google_ad_channel = "0725529317";google_color_border = "F5F5FF";google_color_bg = "F5F5FF";google_color_link = "22229C";google_color_text = "000000";google_color_url = "333333";</script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script></td></tr></table><table cellpadding="15"><tr align="center"><td valign="bottom"><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/150110/beach_spikers_2002_pal_german_retail_dvd/front"><img src="/image_system/covers_th/b/9/b97e2fa89bb7df821072ae8f5c43e689.jpg" border="0"></a><br><strong><a href="http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/150110/beach_spikers_2002_pal_german_retail_dvd/front">front</a></strong><br><font size="1">3199 x 2145 px</font></td></tr></table>
