Decrypting/Copying/Burning DVD's

*For this tutorial, you’ll need to download & install these 3 freeware programs*

STEP 1: Decrypting with DVD43 V4.40

>DVD43 will run in the background and decrypt movies on the fly
>Insert the DVD you want to copy in your DVD-ROM drive and wait for DVD43 to detect it (smiley face turns green as illustrated below)

STEP 2: Copying with DVDShrink V3.2

>Launch DVD Shrink
>Click on “open disc”
>Window appears and analyses disc.
>Once analysing is done, click on “re-author”
>Select “main movie” folder
>Click on “backup”
>Select “target device”
>Select “hard disc folder”
>Select “target folder”
>Click “ok”
>Encoding starts
>”DVD Shrink has finished backing up your DVD” window appears
>Press “ok”
>Remove disc
>Done!


STEP 3: Burning with ImgBurn V2.4.4.0

>Insert blank DVD media disc
>Launch ImgBurn
>Click on “device”
>Select “max” write speed
>Click on “information”
>Tick on “auto”
>Click on “mode”
>Select “build”
>Click on “small folder” icon to search for files that were copied by DVDShrink
>Click on “green arrow” at the bottom of the window to start burning process
>”Volume Label” window appears
>Name is selected automatically or you can manually enter one
>Click “yes”
>Window pops up with all the files contents
>Click “ok”
>Burning begins
>Burning is complete when “green” bar reaches 100%
>Click “ok”
>Done!

I use ConvertxtoDVD 3 for converting and burning. It has a built in burner and makes chapters, menus with titles (if you have a series to burn).

Anyone who needs more info, help or advice with this program, I'll be happy to answer any questions.
